HENGEGROUP: The Innovation Group: tradition, vision, quality and commitment
„We do not only want to be good, we do not only want to improve, we want to be innovative. We want to see our tasks from different angles. We want to inspire our customers with new, unconventional ideas.”“
This unspoken guiding principle has been in the foreground of all our business activities since the founding of the first company of our corporate group by Walter Henge in 1965.
At the beginning, the focus was completely on transport activities, leading to the development of the group into a Europe-wide trading and logistics service provider over the decades. New successful building material products and services were introduced to the market by HENGE Baustoff, recycling of building materials was pushed by BSR and our geographic reach extended by O+H Prague.
Moreover, our product portfolio was broadly extended by IMEXCO Minerals in the areas of abrasives, blasting media and refractories. Since the beginning of 2017, we are no longer limiting our activities to trading and logistics. For the first time, we are manufacturing our own abrasives and refractories at KOMINEX Minerals+Processing. Openness to the world, tolerance and fairness are essential components of our corporate philosophy. We are internationally structured, decentralised, work in flat hierarchies, and offer our customers and employees quick decision paths.
Our services and products are continuously developed in order to meet the changing requirements of the markets and to always be one step ahead of future developments.
Highly-motivated, well-trained employees who have taken the opportunity to make a career in a future-oriented company have helped us to achieve our goals. They are the key components and most important capital for further sustainable growth.
In addition to concentrating our business on customers and employees, we also focus on ecologically sustainable corporate growth. Thus, we source our raw materials and trade products only from trust-worthy partners with whom we have had years of experience and lay our focus on optimal energy efficiency of all our materials and processes. In addition, two of our five companies in the group have business models which primarily focus on recycling of used raw and operating materials. BSR recycles building materials, while KOMINEX processes abrasives and refractories.
Innovative thinking and acting will form the basis for HENGEGROUP’s future growth.
