Products
However different our mineral products may look, they always have two core characteristics - high hardness and heat resistance. With our industrial minerals you are perfectly equipped for a multitude of different abrasive and blasting applications, and to produce refractory products.
When looking for new products, we always focus on our customers. We continuously develop new ideas and products together with our raw materials partners in order to keep you at the forefront of the newest developments.
Fused Alumina
Since the beginning of the 20th century, fused alumina are synthetically produced. Synthetic fused alumina is formed by fusion in an electric arc furnace at temperatures of over 2,000 °C.
Fused alumina is produced in different ways depending upon the input raw materials (bauxite, calcined alumina) and the use of further additives. The finished products may meet a range of needs.

Silicon Carbide
Silicon Carbide (SiC) is typically fused using the so-called Acheson process. It is a chemical compound of silicon and carbon.
Through careful separation of the molten SiC, different qualities are obtained. Silicon Carbide is extremely hard, chemically inert, heat-resistant and possesses high thermal conductivity and thermal shock resistance.
